Manuela Garretón, IALAB/HAIvis UC PhD Student and academic at the UC School of Design, is dedicated to data visualization. She made the research, the texts, the visualziation of maps and the design for this article.

This article was written as part of Manuela Garretón’s doctoral research project on narrative visualizations in digital media at the Department of Computer Science, UC Engineering School.

This work tries to raise awareness about the water crisis that Chile is currently experiencing. It has several visualizations to facilitate the understanding of this, and the retention of information.
